Views from Across the Political Spectrum

From Redstate.com:

Republicans, for some time now, have been pushing for fairly tame measures to prevent voter fraud, most of which revolve around requiring voters to show some form of identification and otherwise leave a record that enables a determination of who, precisely, voted. . . . Well. Now that the Democrats are in the majority, they are hard at work on legislation in another election context that will go far beyond mere identification, and eliminate secret ballots entirely, allowing voters to be pressured, even by their co-workers and in their own homes, to vote a specific way.

From Demorcats.com:

Dick Cheney spoke to a business lobby group today and promised to veto the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), which has strong bipartisan backing in Congress. . . . Why should the labor movement take this pre-emptive attack lying down? Fighting powerful bosses is the only reason why unions exist.

Labor should fire back at Bush and Cheney by joining the movement to impeach them both . . . .

From Politicalaffairs.net:

According to Communist Party Labor Commission Chair Scott Marshall, "The Democrats are beholden to labor and must pass the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA)."
