Summary:

The “Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act” (H.R. 2831) would amend Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Rehabilitation Act to provide that an unlawful practice occurs with respect to discrimination in compensation when a discriminatory decision or practice is adopted, when an individual becomes subject to the discriminatory compensation decision or practice, or when an individual is affected by the discriminatory compensation decision or practice.
