Summary
The Title VII Fairness Act, introduced in the Senate on January 7, 2009 by Sen. Kay B. Hutchinson, would amend Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by providing that the statute of limitations period on a Title VII claim begins running when an employee reasonably suspects, or should reasonably suspect, that he or she has been discriminated against.
Current Status: The bill has been referred to the Senate Committees on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.
